To successfully initialize your new throttle body and clear engine error codes, perform these steps exactly after installation:

1. Key On: Insert your key and turn it to the second gear (dashboard lights turn on). Wait exactly 30 seconds, then start the engine.

2. Rev Engine: Wait 20 seconds after starting. Smoothly press the accelerator to rev the engine between 3000–4000 RPM and hold it there for 10 seconds.

3. Idle & Reset: Release the throttle completely and let the engine settle at its normal idle speed for 10 seconds. Turn off the ignition and remove the key.

4. Final Startup: Wait 15 to 20 seconds, start the vehicle normally, and verify that the engine failure light is off. (Repeat once if the idle remains erratic).
